The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of self-differentiation, family function, self-esteem, and psychological well-being perceived by college students on college life adjustment. A total of 365 students, 184 from K University and 181 from Y University belonging to in the Gyeonggi and Chungbuk, were surveyed, and then data from 297 people were analyzed, excluding 68 defective copies. The results of this study was summarized as follows. First, there was a significant correlation between self-differentiation, family function, self-esteem, psychological well-being, and college life adjustment. Second, as a result of multiple regression analysis between self-differentiation, family function, self-esteem, and psychological well-being, it was confirmed that self-differentiation, self-esteem, and psychological well-being had a significant influence on college life adjustment, but family function was not significant. Therefore, it is necessary to develop various programs that can enhance adjustment to college life and practical policies that can help maladjusted students.
