초록
본 연구는 초기성인기의 내현적 자기애와 사회불안의 관계에서 완벽주의적 자기제시와 경험회피를 매개 변인으로 선정하고 이들 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하기 위해 진행되었다. 국내 초기성인(만19~35세) 410명을 대상으로 온라인 설문을 실시하였고 수집된 자료는 기술통계, 상관분석, 구조방정식을 사용하여 분석하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내현적 자기애와 사회불안의 관계에서 완벽주의적 자기제시의 정적 매개효과가 유의하지 않았다. 둘째, 내현적 자기애와 사회불안의관계에서 경험회피의 정적 매개효과가 유의하였다. 셋째, 내현적 자기애와 사회불안의 관계에서 완벽주의적 자기제시의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았고, 경험회피는 매개효과가 유의하였다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 시사점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.
This study was conducted to examine the structural relationships between covert narcissism inearly adulthood and social anxiety, using perfectionistic self-presentation and experientialavoidance as mediating variables. An online survey was administered to 410 domestic earlyadults (aged 19-35), and the collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlationanalysis, and structural equation modeling. The results of this study are as follows: First, thedirect mediating effect of perfectionistic self-presentation on the relationship between covertnarcissism and social anxiety was not significant. Second, the direct mediating effect ofexperiential avoidance on the relationship between covert narcissism and social anxiety wassignificant. Third, the mediating effect of perfectionistic self-presentation on the relationshipbetween covert narcissism and social anxiety was not significant, while the mediating effect ofexperiential avoidance was significant. Based on the above results, we discussed implicationsand recommendations for further research.
