This study investigated the difference and relationship between Gestalt contact boundaryconfusion in high school students with emotional and behavioral problems. For the study, 58 inthe interest group and 66 in the control group were selected. The results of the study showedthat the Gestalt contact boundary confusion factor had a more negative effect on emotionalbehavior problems in the students in the interest group than in the control group. As a factorcontact boundaries confusion, showed for retroflection, projection, and egotism in the interestgroup, and retroflection and projection in the control group. In particular, in the case of theinterest group, retoflection was found to affect anxiety, projection to psychological burden, andegotism to poor self-control. Therefore, as part of a counseling stratergy for interest group, aGestalt counseling treatment approach is required.
