초록
본 연구는 아동의 인성에 따른 잠재집단을 분류하고 잠재집단의 분류를 예측하는 요인으로서 부부갈등과 부모감독 등의 부모요인과 또래애착과 교사관계 등의 환경적 요인의 영향력을 살펴보고자하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 한국아동패널(PSKC)의 13차년도 조사에 참여한 586명의 아동과 어머니이며, 잠재집단의 분류와 예측요인의 영향력을 파악하기 위해 잠재프로파일분석과 다항 로지스틱 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째 아동의 인성에 따른 잠재집단의 수는 3개로 나타났으며, 각 집단은 ‘인성 상 수준 집단’과 ‘인성 중 수준 집단’, ‘인성 하 수준 집단’으로 명명되었다. 둘째, 아동의 인성 잠재집단에 대해서 부모요인과 환경적 요인은 잠재집단 분류에 대한 예측요인으로서 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 각 요인의 영향력은 잠재집단에 따라 다른 양상을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 아동의 인성을 잠재프로파일분석을 통해 서로 다른 특성을 가진다수의 잠재집단으로 분류하여 아동의 인성을 높여주기 위해 잠재집단별로 상이한 개입이 효과적일수 있다는 것을 밝혀내었다는데 그 의의가 있으며, 이를 통해 아동의 인성 향상을 위한 개입의 초점에 관한 함의점을 제시하였다.
The purpose of this study is to classify the latent profiles based on personality amongchildren, and to explore the effects of parents’ martial conflict and parental monitoring, peerattachment of children, student-teacher relationship as predictors of latent proflie. Questionnairedata from the 13th wave of Panel Study on Korean Children(PSKC) were analyzed. The datawere analyzed by latent profile analysis(LPA) and multinominal logistic regression model. Majorfindings were as following. First, as a result of LPA, the three-profile model that include‘personality high level group’, ‘personality middle level group’ and ‘personality low level group’was selected as the final model. Second, parental factors such as martial conflict and parentalmonitoring, and environmental factors such as peer attachment and student-teacher relationshipof children had a significant effect on the classification of the latent profiles. Our findingsprovide valuable implications to help children to get better personality.
