The subject of analysis of this study is a paper related to food counseling among paperspublished in domestic journals for the past 10 years from 2012 to 2021. It is intended to presentthe horizon of the study by diagnosing the current status of the study that is currently interestedin food art therapy by research subject, research method, and research subject. According to theselection criteria, 54 of the papers on food art therapy published in domestic journals wereanalyzed by presenting the characteristics of the number of papers by journal and year, relatedcharacteristics, classification by research analysis, and classification by research method asfrequency and percentage. First, by journal published, 35 food art therapy (65.1%), 6 artpsychotherapy (11.3%), 2 Korean Journal of Youth Counseling (3.8%), and 1 each in 11academic journals. Second, when looking at the characteristics of the study subjects, there are8 studies without the study subjects and 46 papers with the subject. The subjects of the studyare the most common with 23 studies on children and adolescents, and the scope of the studyis wide in all ages, from infants to the elderly. Third, looking at the research analysis aspect,quantitative analysis accounts for almost half of 25 cases. Qualitative analysis is conducted invarious ways, from literature review to theoretical analysis. Fourth, looking at the researchmethodological trends, 39 studies on treatment process performance through programprogression, 9 studies on consideration, and 6 studies on program development. Variousmethods of research related to food art therapy will be conducted by learning the trend of foodart therapy that is gradually spreading.
