The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationships among the mothers who haveinfants' Enneagram personality type and type of play participation, and the infant's socialdevelopment. To achieve this, this study was to __select 225 mothers who had their infants in thechildcare center, located in Daegu Metropolitan City as final research object. From__ the result ofthis research above, it may be summed up as follows. First, for the mother's Enneagrampersonality type, this study has found out that there was positive correlation with the infant'ssociability. In addition, it was correlated with the infant's sociability most in case of headformed central energy. Second, this study has found out that there was positive correlationbetween the mother's type of play participation and infant's sociability, and the functional playhad highest correlation. Third, this study has shown that the first type, second type, third type,fifth type, sixth type, and ninth type among the mother's Enneagram personality types hadsignificant effect on the infant's sociability. In addition, the constructive play, physical play,teaching play, role play, and functional play among the mother's types of play participation hadsignificant effect on the infant's sociability.
