This paper analyzed the mediating effect of self-efficacy between the emotional labor and the burnout of employees in senior employment agencies. We surveyed 261 employees in 21 agencies in Deajeon and Chungcheong areas. Analysis methods were frequency/ reliability/correlation/confirmatory factor analysis/bootstrap test making use of SPSS and AMOS 18.0. The analysis result showed that employees¡¯ emotional labor influenced burnout significantly and the self-efficacy mediated between the both variables. According to analysis results, some solutions were suggested to reduce the emotional labor and to advance the self-efficacy for mitigating employees¡¯ burnout.
