아동 성적 길들이기 양상의 이해: 피해아동의 진술을 중심으로*

Focusing on Victim Statements

<요 약>
본 연구는 아동 성적 길들이기에 대한 이해의 범위를 확장하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 성적 길들이기 요소를 표적선정, 유대/접속, 신뢰구축, 고립시키기, 성애화, 및 통제로 설정한 후 성폭력 피해를 주장하는 아동 92명의 진술을 분석하였다. 그 결과 통제 58.7%, 신뢰구축 45.7%, 성애화 40.2%, 유대/접속 35.9%, 표적선택 28.3%, 그리고 고립시키기가 18.5%의 사례에서 진행된 것으로 나타났다. 6개의 길들이기 요소를 모두 포함한 사례는 11건(12.0%)이었다. 길들이기 순서와 전략은 가해자와 피해자의 관계에 따라 유의미하게 달라지는 것으로 나타났으며, 대부분의 길들이기 사건에서 유대/접속과 신뢰구축 및 성적 자극에 대한 둔감화가 진행되었다. 논의에서는 연구 결과를 토대로 성적 길들이기의 정의 시 고려해야할 사항, 연구의 제한점 및 향후 연구를 위한 제언점을 살펴보았다.

<Abstract>
This study aimed to identify the phenomenon of sexual grooming in children and to understand its characteristics. To this purpose, 92 cased of child sexual abuse under trial were analyzed. As a result, control was found in 58.7%, followed by 45.7% for trust building, 40.2% for sexualization, 35.9% for bond/connection, 28.3% for targeting, and 18.5% for isolation. The grooming order and strategy varied considerably from case by case. It was found that the relationship between the perpetrator and the victim influenced grooming characteristics. It was found that bond/connection, trust building, and sexualization were progressed in most grooming cases. The implications and limitations of the study results and suggestions for future study were discussed.
