초등학생의 외모만족도와 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 거부민감성의 매개효과*

<요 약>
본 연구는 초등학생의 외모만족도와 스마트폰 중독의 관계에서 거부민감성의 매개효과를 살펴봄 으로써 초등학생의 스마트폰 중독을 예방하기 위한 다각적인 접근 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기 지역 초등학생 284명의 설문 자료를 토대로 상관분석, 구조모형 검증, 매개효과 검증 을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 초등학생의 외모만족도와 거부민감성, 스마트폰 중독의 일부 하위 요인을 제외하고 모두 유의한 상관관계를 나타냈다. 둘째, 거부민감성의 매개효과는 유의하였고, 외 모만족도와 스마트폰 중독의 직접 효과도 함께 나타나 초등학생의 외모만족도와 스마트폰 중독의 관 계에서 거부민감성은 부분 매개를 나타냈다. 본 연구는 초등학생의 외모만족도와 스마트폰 중독 간 의 관계를 검증한 동시에 외모만족도가 스마트폰 중독에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 거부민감성의 매개 효과를 밝혔다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

<Abstract>
The purpose of this study is to find a multi-faceted approach that can prevent elementary school students' smartphone addiction by examining the mediating effect of rejection sensitivity in the relationship between appearance satisfaction and smartphone addiction of elementary school students. To this end, correlation analysis, structural model verification, and mediation effect verification were conducted based on the survey data of 284 elementary school students. As a result of the study, first, all of the elementary school students showed a significant correlation, except for some sub-factors of appearance satisfaction, rejection sensitivity, and smartphone addiction. Third, the mediating effect of rejection sensitivity was significant, and the direct effects of appearance satisfaction and smartphone addiction also appeared, indicating that rejection sensitivity was partially mediated in the relationship between appearance satisfaction of elementary school students and smartphone addiction. This study is meaningful in that it verifies the relationship between appearance satisfaction and smartphone addiction of elementary school students, and at the same time reveals the mediating effect of rejection sensitivity in the process that appearance satisfaction affects smartphone addiction.
