<Abstract>



 The purposes of this study are to examine the relationship among perceived stress, resilience and academic burnout, and to explore the moderating effect of resilience on the relation between perceived stress and academic burnout. A structured questionnaire was administered to a total of 559 male and female students attending to the university at D cities in Korea. The results of this survey are as follows. First, perceived stress is positively correlated with academic burnout. also resilience is negatively correlated with academic burnout. Second, resilience have a moderating effects on the relations between perceived stress and academic burnout. These results suggest that when we develop programs it is necessary to take into account the resilience on solving higher level of stress and academic burnout.
