<Abstract>
The purpose of this study is to reveal the structural relationship between social stigma,
parental attachment, and life satisfaction variables in order to identify the impact of emotions
experienced by School Dropout Youth on quality of life. To that end, panel survey data from
the "Research on Juvenile Panel for Aborting Education" (hereinafter referred to as the "Research
on Juvenile Panel for Aborting Education") conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute were
used. First, social stigma among various psychological crises after youth stopped studying was
found to have a negative impact on overall living satisfaction. Second, it was confirmed that it
could have a positive impact on the level of living satisfaction depending on the attachment
relationship with parents after School Dropout Youth. Third, it was confirmed that the social
stigma experienced by adolescents who stopped studying can have a positive impact on overall
living satisfaction through the medium of parental attachment.
