<Abstract>

This study sought to find out the effect of internalized shame on potential aggression, to

check whether anger suppression and emotional expressing emotion . The survey was

conducted on 212 adults living in the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Province using a

measure of each variable. Based on the collected data, the frequency analysis, reliability

analysis, correlation analysis, confirmative factor analysis, and conformity of measurement model

were verified, the structural model was analyzed using the structural equation, and the relative

size verification of the mediated effect was carried out using the phantom variable. The results

of the study are as follows. First, it was confirmed that there was a significant static correlation

between all the variables. Second, it was confirmed that internalized shame affects potential

aggression through the medium of anger suppression and emotional ______expression______. Third,

internalized shame was shown to affect the ambivalence of emotional ______expression______ by using anger

suppression as a medium, and emotional ______expression______ ambivalence affects potential aggression.

Subsequent analysis results discussed the meaning and limitations of the parametric model

verification and the significance and limitations of this study
