<Abstract>

This study aims at developing and applying the nature-friendly education program for teachers,

and figuring outs its effects on teachers' nature-friendly teaching attitudes and their perception

and practice on nature-friendly education. For this, based on ADDEI model, first, the purposes

and goals of nature-friendly education for teachers, its contents, teaching & learning methods,

and evaluation were made by the literature analysis and demand surveys based on the

Nuri-curriculum elements related to nature-friendly education and the previous studies. Second,

for application of the program and verification of its effects, the one experiment group and one

control group consisting of fifteen teachers in charge of children between 3 and 5 years old in

13 children's education institutes in Gyeongsangbuk-do, respectively, were set and then, the

program was applied to the experiment group for 19 weeks, and the program effects were

verified through pre-, post-, and follow-up tests. As a result of the repeated measured ANOVA

on the data collected from the study through SPSS 23.0 statistical program according to the

research questions, the teachers in the experiment group with the nature-friendly education

program for teachers developed in this study showed more statistically significant improvement

on nature-friendly teaching attitudes and the perception and practice on nature-friendly

education than those in the compared group.
