<Abstract>
The purpose of this study was to investigate the students' perceptions and demands of the
capstone design class in advance, and to design specific classes. The results of this study were
as follows: First, among the items in the recognition level of the capstone design class, the field
of participation was the highest when the capstone design course was opened in the
department. Activity was the highest surveyed. Second, there was a significant difference in
capstone design recognition in grade (t = -9.57, p = .000), class status (t = 8.878, p = .000),
and interpersonal relationship (t = 4.351, p = .014). Capstone design requirements were grade
(t = -7.61, p = .000), major satisfaction, class availability, interpersonal relationship (t = 4.791,
p = .000, t = 6.486, p = .000, t = 6.164). p = .003). Third, there was a signific -ant correlation
between capstone design recognition and capstone design demand (r = .809, p = .000). This
study shows that the recognition and needs of capstone design are important in designing
capstone design classes for nursing students.
