<Abstract>
This study was set to figure out any difference among evaluators between mothers and
children for evaluation on problem areas of children. The study was also designed to inspect
any effect of properties of children, features of relations, choice of evaluation request and
inspection attitude on incompatibility among evaluators. The survey targeted mothers and
children in 4th grade of an elementary school the 2nd grade of a high school at J city. ¡­
According to the result from properties(gender and age) of children, in the case of gender
media addiction was the only variable to have the interaction effect between the two groups on
the evaluation of KCYP. In the case of age supervision was the only variable to have the
interaction effect between the two groups on the PAT. The properties(gender and age) of
children did not affect the difference between evaluators. For features of relations, according to
the result of conflicts and troubles between parents and children, the more conflicts and
troubles both mothers and children groups had, the more serious they considered problems and
there is the tendency to evaluate the parenting attitude negatively. The result from choice of
evaluation request had the strongest influence on every group than any other variables that this
study dealt with. In the case of evaluation request, the attitude of the inspection is exaggerated
and the defense is low. In every index evaluators perceived problems seriously and a nurturing
attitude in a negative way. The result demonstrated that choice of evaluation request has the
highest interaction effect than any other variables.
